In celebration of how AWESOME the Kids of Cairns are, By Heart Photography is looking for families with kids aged 2 to 12 to register their interest to be part of our NEW and EXCLUSIVE book, “Kids of Cairns”
Expect these Portrait Sessions to be fun, full of laughter AND lots of personality!
Funds raised will be donated to “Ronald McDonald House North Australia” and your participation fee secures a spot in the book. If you’re successful, you’ll receive:

ABOUT THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE NORTH AUSTRALIA
Ronald McDonald House Charities North Australia is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing vital programs for families with seriously ill children.
Their state-of-the-art Ronald McDonald House is located adjacent to Townsville Hospital offering a safe place for North Queensland families to stay when life gets turned upside down due to a child’s illness.
Programs are run by a tirelessly hard-working team of staff and volunteers, aided by the generous support of our donors, sponsors, corporate partners and the local community.

WHAT IS THE "KIDS OF CAIRNS" BOOK?
Kids of Cairns is a new photography charity book project run by By Heart Photography (one of Cairns most experienced family photography studios), with the aim of raising $10,000 for families with seriously ill children.
Your $95 participation fee AND 5% of sales will be donated in full to a local charity: Ronald McDonald House, North Australia
This book is an amazing opportunity to have beautiful, fun and creative portraits of your child/children that celebrate their personality, interests and uniqueness. And if you would like to include the whole family in the experience and grab some updated family photos, you can do that too!
When we have completed all the sessions, we will design and print a beautiful hard cover coffee table book called “Kids of Cairns. This will be an important piece of social history about being a child growing up in Cairns in 2024!

We’ve had an overwhelming response to the project, and with limited sessions available, we are prioritizing those who want to support the fundraiser through photo purchases.

The opportunity for your dog/s to be featured in our exclusive photography book—a stunning keepsake showcasing the dogs of Cairns
Every dog in the project will be featured in the exclusive Puparazzi coffee table book, celebrating the amazing dogs of Cairns. To ensure a cohesive design, we’ll select the image—but don’t worry, we’ll pick the absolute best one!
Plus, you’ll be invited to our VIP Book Launch later this year!
We hope to have the Project finished by October, but it really depends how quickly we fill the spaces and complete the sessions. We will keep every dog featured in the loop and let you know when we are ready to unveil your doggy star!
While you’re welcome to be in the photos, there’s no pressure to be at all! But hopefully we’ll make you feel relaxed and comfortable enough to give it a go. There’s no awkward posing and no rules. We’ll help you feel comfortable, get the laughs happening and make sure you have a relaxed and fun time. We promise you’ll enjoy it!
Your session fee covers your photoshoot, but the photos themselves are not included. After your session, you’ll visit the studio for your design and ordering appointment, where you can purchase stunning Wall Art, Fine Art Prints, Albums, digital files, plus a copy of the exclusive Puparazzi photography book.
